Lots of birthdays in the extended Buzzy family this month starting with Karen Leach, Rita Weaver, Cousin Johnny (JW) Raley, CJ Little and Ted Yeatman all celebrating on 3 August. Bobbi Jo Magee celebrates on 5 Aug; my Grandson Stone Ridgell will turn 7 on the 8th; Peggy Binzel the 15th; Lorie Raley the 17th; Cathy Wright the 20th; Gary Wood the 25th, my son Brady also on the 25th and Brother-in-law Dan Hofmeister on the 26th. Marylou and Jimmy Cullison celebrate their wedding anniversary on the 29th.
I had another of those not-so-fun moments just now when I saw the following from 2025’s Birthdays/Anniversaries Buzzy blog entry: “Wedding anniversaries this month are celebrated by my in-laws Stella and Sol Aroesty on the 8th of August as they celebrate 72 years of marriage.”
I am saddened because Stella passed earlier this week. Thus, after 72+ years of being married to Stella, Sol is now flying solo. May Stella rest in peace.
