Chief Larry and I sat down with Billy Fitzgerald to talk about something that all three of us are thinking very seriously about – our next and final chapter of retirement. Billy has recently downsized his business footprint but continues to be involved in a number of related activities. Chief Larry has officially retired a couple of times but continues to keep busy doing documentary videos and filming local landmarks. I consider myself semi-retired, but am giving serious consideration as to my own exit strategy here from Buzzy’s.
Thus, when Billy and I were talking about these matters recently, we decided to have Chief Larry film us in a Buzzy Podcast that follows:

As for the “Like and Share” encouragements mentioned, I will be honest with you when I tell you that that it is not my primary motivation in doing these podcasts. Of course, I want people to watch and the more who do so, the merrier.
However, the bottom line is that I am just glad that Chief Larry and I can sit down and talk to interesting people that we know, respect and like. Everybody’s got a story to tell and our goal is to capture as many of those that we can. On second thought, please do go ahead and hit those Like and Share buttons!
Music-wise, I caught John Cougar playing at Bill Maher’s recent Kennedy Center Mark Twain Awards ceremony. It led me to replay his many CD’s that I have.
The following “Hard Times” tune appeared on what I think was John’s best album Lonesome Jubilee. It features Lisa Germano on the violin. Lisa was a key part of John’s band for over 8 years and played on some of his best tunes from a string of great albums including Scarecrow, Lonesome Jubilee, Big Daddy, Dance Naked, Falling from Grace, and Human Wheels. As John would say “Check it out.”
