Today’s Twofer Tuesday involves two cases of telling lies.
All this recent discussion about the USS Lincoln made me think of the infamous Geico commercial that is only 30 seconds long, but still remains just maybe the greatest and funniest TV commercial ever made:

The second lies example popped up after I viewed the TV series The Madison. It sent me re-watching several Michelle Pfeifer movies and I landed on What Lies Beneath starring her and Harrison Ford. The following trailer pretty much shows you the whole movie. But if you have not seen it, the movie has enough scary moments and plot twists to keep your attention throughout its two hour run time. You also get an appreciation for the two definitions of “lies” in the movie.
Then the trifecta came about when I heard this tune just yesterday and wondered if some musical DJ ghost wasn’t screwing with me.
The movie Grease 2 may have been a big flop, but Michelle on and off that ladder definitely nailed it:
