I am still undecided if I like “buzzy” being used as an adjective. Whenever I see it in a sentence or a headline, I find myself having to double clutch and parse it out to decipher what is being said exactly. Some samples follow:
Here is another item that initially made me wonder “Who the hell is Buzzy Holmes? I have never heard of him.”
Upon further review, I learned that the Holmes being featured in the documentary is not named Buzzy at all but is in fact Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos infamy. She is currently serving an 11 year jail sentence for wire fraud and conspiracy.
The “buzzy” Holmes’ documentary titled “You Can See Everything” is due to be released next month (click here.). It has received some buzz mostly because folks are wondering why she agreed to let a film crew and an interviewer follow her around like she did before she went off to prison. Guess you got to see it to decide for yourself. Hence the buzz about it (click here.)
