I was at Buzzy’s Country Store doing some repairs in one of the apartments behind the store when Jenny came in to inform me that someone named Scooby wanted to talk to me.
As I made my way into the Store, I could not recall who Scooby was until I saw him. I remembered him being in Buzzy’s several months previously with his son. I had forgotten their names, but Scooby I knew.
He then presented me a Tucson police emblem/patch. Scooby is currently still a member of the Tucson police force and told me how much he enjoys being on the beat. He noted that he had no plans to retire anytime soon.
As for why he was back in the area, Scooby’s son Diego is an engineer here working on Base.

Scooby’s real name? Ricardo. Try for the life of me, I couldn’t come up with something clever as in “What would Scooby do?” I will keep working on that however, and get back to you.
