Buzzy was inducted into Chesapeake Shores’ Hall of Fame Cafe Thursday night at a ceremony attended by several members of his family and friends. Annually Chesapeake Shores recognizes “Hometown Heroes” of their Care Center community. After Lila inducted Buzzy by recounting various events during his life, my daughter Reagan commented to me “I didn’t know Granddaddy did all that!” Other inductees included Russ Tarleton, Amanda Johnson and Dr. Jarboe (members of the Chesapeake Shores staff ) and residents Beverly Pringle and Nazarene Brown.
