My Mom, Steve, Donna, Lila and I would like to thank all of you for being so kind and supportive this past week as we bid Buzzy farewell.
We were in the ER with Dad last Thursday night and he went very peacefully. He had told Steve, Donna and Lila earlier in the day that he was very tired. I believe that that’s pretty much what happened re: official cause of his passing – he was just tired out.
Buzzy had written out all of his arrangements years before and everything went as he had designed. The prayers and funeral went well and again our thanks to all of you who attended. The post- funeral receptions at St. Michael’s and back here at the Store were just the sort of events that Buzzy would have enjoyed – refreshments, stories, drinking – lots of drinking – and much laughter. He would have been very pleased.
