More Proof the World is Flat – Even at Buzzy’s Country Store

I swiped someone’s new credit card the other day and it was declined. The card’s owner immediately called her bank to determine what was the problem. The person at the bank (in India actually) had access to her account and could see that the card had just been tried and declined at Buzzy’s Country Store. Turns out the card wasn’t activated. The clerk activated the card and we were able to swipe it successfully. All of this took about 5 minutes to correct!  Still kind of boggles my mind when stuff like that happens.
