 Found the following story which gives a new meaning to “drinking and driving:”

But what also caught my eye was how they spelled whiskey. Turns out some folks have investigated this dual spelling of the word; but other than you can spell it either way, I’m not sure what they really did conclude click here. My take is – if Willie & Toby spell it with an e then there’s no further discussion needed!
