An article in today’s Enterprise discusses Mike and Christie Henderson’s request to allow 12 camping sites at their Buzz’s Marina just up the road from Buzzy’s Country Store. The article tries to explain the convoluted process whereby their request was first approved and then disapproved.
When the topic was discussed and reviewed by Buzzy’s Four O’clock Club, the consensus was that Mike and Christie were dealt a bad hand i.e. got screwed. Find myself agreeing with Commissioner Larry Jarboe’s comment that local government should not be pushing business away and that the so-called “mistake” here was on the County’s part. Hey Larry aren’t you in a position to do something about that?
