Speaking about buying the Store from Buzzy in 2007 (see previous post,) it reminded me I had this picture that my Mom took of us on that day in August 2007. We had just come from doing the settlement paperwork and to commemorate this auspicious occasion we did something special – went to IHOP. We met Mom there and had brunch. She snapped this picture of us outside the restaurant.
Afterwards, I took Buzzy back down to the Store and he went in his apartment for something. I remember walking into the Store and finding myself sort of amazed that I was now its owner. Funny, but four years later, everyday I open the Store’s door and enter, I still have that same feeling and probably always will.
