Rainy Monday

On rainy Monday mornings I always think of two songs:  Stormy Monday (Allman Brothers’ version) and Rainy Days and Mondays by the Carpenters.  I’ve discussed previously how the first 45 I ever bought was a rain song  click here   but here’s another favorite one I just thought about this past Saturday when Gary Rue played it at Bart’s party.  Always liked it but hearing it live seemed to remind me what a great song it is/was from Creedence.  (The Creedence video is ok but this version by Smokie has some better photo’s.  Still like the Creedence original song best though.)
