| New Flagpole On Its Way To Buzzy’s Country Store |
Captain Jimmy Cullison secured Buzzy’s “new” flagpole from Bobby Cook in Solomons yesterday. Polock then called to tell me that he’ll be down to play some music for us. Thus, we will have a porch, flagpole, karaoke party this coming Saturday.
That it commemorates Buzzy’s passing on 11 June in 2009 makes this a full circle event in a way. If you recall, we had initially planned on installing a flagpole on 14 June in 2009. However, we had to cancel when Buzzy died and was then buried on 15 June. Think Buzzy would be very pleased that we will remember him in a way that he would appreciate – with a party!
