Jack Wise was at the first Buzzy Car Show a few years back and had the best summation I heard that day, “Damn J. Scott I haven’t been to Buzzy’s in years and here we are with fights, drunks, cars burning tires and cutting donuts – nothing has changed!”
Since this year’s show was by invitation only, I had asked Jack’s brother Ray to let Jack know about the 9/11 date. I received this nice email from Jack:
“Ray told me you invited me down for your annual car show today, but I can’t make it…. I really get a lot of enjoyment out of your website and seeing the names of the past. Maybe one of these days I’ll stop in. Right now, I live in Bel Air, but am retired. I plan on moving to my retirement home I purchased in the mountains of SW Virginia. I’ll keep reading your web page and remembering the past, the good old days.”
