Some bird watchers were in Buzzy’s Country Store the other day on their way to Pt. Lookout State Park to try and catch sight of the Tufted Tit Mouse (right) and the Buff-breasted Sandpiper (left.) When I asked about my favorite bird the Blue Jay, they tended to dismiss that as being too easy, too everywhere to be worth their troubles to try and locate. No challenge I guess. Don’t care; still think that the Blue’s got it all over the Tit and the Buff-breasted. If you are interested in doing some birding click here for info on our local Audobon Society.
