Each summer St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks sponsors a Summer Stock production that is always a fun event. This year they are presenting the Wizard of Oz (click here for Enterprise article.) One of the lead roles is being played by Richard Lepper as the Scarecrow.
This years’ shows are at Great Mills High School and start tonight. I’m sure if you go, you may also see Richard’s parents Duncan and Linda in attendance. For more details on the shows’ schedule and to purchase tickets click here
(This reminded me of the karaoke Store party a few years back where Richard and I did the Danny/John Travolta part of Summer Lovin’ while Barbara and Linda sang Olivia Newton/Sandy’s lines. Thankful that at least Richard, unlike his partner here, could carry a tune.)
