The churn over the Olympic security guards’ hats being made in China caused me to wonder about the origins of the latest shipment of hats I recently received from Buddy the Hat Dude (click here for related post.)
When I first purchased hats from Buddy a couple years back, one of his come on’s proclaimed that his hats were made in America. When I received the initial order of hats from Buddy, I checked the labels and found that he was sort of correct in that at least the cotton was made in America.
However, the latest hats I received from Buddy were made in just about everywhere but America.

So bottom line, Buddy not only jacked the prices on me, but he’s also now dealing hats made overseas after saying they weren’t. Bottom bottom line – won’t be dealing with Buddy on any future Buzzy hat orders.
