I promise not to bore you with pictures of my ongoing house renovation/addition, but these initial steps warrant a comment or two.
Thanks to Duncan Lepper the first footer has been poured and we are officially underway. Never thought I’d be excited about something as pedestrian, literally, as a footer but hey, it has been a long, strange trip that I’ve been on so go figure!
Still enough of a redneck to think that it has been pretty cool to look out my window and see two backhoes, a large dump truck and a port-a-potty in my front yard. Wife Pam has a little different reaction to this. Then again her redneck card has never been fully certified, though some may say that it was semi-certified when she married me.
