I should dub August “Relative Birthday Month” because just about everybody this month is related to me in some way or another. We begin with the King of Cars himself Dickie Cullison on 1 Aug. (I call Dickie the King because he can tell you what model and year car everybody in the First District ever owned.) On 3 Aug Cousin Johnny JW Raley, 5 Aug Bobbi Jo Magee, Lori Raley the 17th.
My Mom celebrates her birthday on the 21st and my son Brady on August 25th. Brother-in-law Danny Hofmeister on the 26th. To top it off – on the 29th, Jimmy and Marylou Cullison celebrate their wedding anniversary. Now thats’s a partying month!
