Why Isn't Budweiser Considered a PED?

I have no problem with Lance Armstrong doping to win those bike races.  My problem with him is that he made me spend alot of time watching all those bike races.  (Do have to admit however, that I did enjoy seeing all that scenic French countryside that they showed during those races.)

Riding down to Buzzy’s Country Store yesterday I heard a radio sports guy speculate on why Lance Armstrong chose Oprah for his confessional interview set for tonight.  The reporter made the case that Lance is concerned with how he is perceived by women and that he purposely picked Oprah to get his message out to as wide a female audience as he could.  He speculated that this is all part of a grander strategy by Armstrong to rehabilitate his image.

Thinking that this sounded like a bunch of crap, I switched the channel to another sports talk site where they were talking about Peyton Manning’s legacy and his 0 and 8 record in first round playoff games.  Now that I could understand.  (Perhaps Peyton is the one who needs to sit down with Oprah.)

I then pulled into visit my Mom.  At some point in our conversation, I had to laugh when she mentioned trying to find Oprah’s channel on her cable set because “I want to watch her interview with Lance Armstrong tonight.”   I didn’t even bother to tell her that the interview was not set until Thursday night.

Wonder if Louie ever used any performance enhancing drugs?
