Thursday night Brady and Caitie took Mickey (Caitie’s Dad) and me to an Orioles game at Camden Yards. Great time, good game (O’s won) and fun night. Bet we were the only father/son, father/daughter foursome among the 25K in attendance.
Been a couple years since I’ve been to Camden and sort of forgotten how nice a place it is to watch a game. Brady and I have been to all but a few of MLB’s ball parks and when we do so we always compare them to Camden Yards which remains the template for all ball parks built since Camden came on the scene in 1992.

Almost Heaven
Although I titled the last photo after the John Denver song, truth be told, the seventh inning “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” is the one thing about the whole Camden experience that I could do without.(I’m not the only one who feels this way either (Click here.) Without TGICB, Camden would be heaven. Guess that enough folks feel otherwise for it to remain a part of the deal.
