Whenever the toilet paper roll in Buzzy’s Country Store bathroom gets low enough for me to change it out, I think of Buzzy’s metric that this constituted a full roll. Let me explain.
Steve (Polock) Soroka managed a building in Crystal City and one of his maintenance duties was to ensure that the TP dispensers were full at all times. When the roll reached a low level such as shown above, Polock and his crew would trade it out for a full roll.
However, rather than throw away the unused portion of the TP rolls, Polock would place them in a shopping bag and bring all of them down to Buzzy. In turn, Buzzy would stock his bathroom with the rolls containing only a little paper on them. Of course it meant that he was continually changing out the TP rolls. However, Buzzy did not mind as long as he was saving that coin otherwise spent on TP.
