Mike Raley and I went to Cali’s for lunch the other day and it was very good. Arriving a little after noon, we were the only ones there on a cold Wednesday, so we got a chance to talk to the owner/operators a bit.
They are open daily from 10-3 and on Sundays from 9:00. As the article here notes (click here) their sandwiches are big and tasty. Mike and I each had the Reuben and it was excellent.
When we were ordering, Zane warned us off their Stacker Sandwich unless we were really starved. The Stacker sounded like a candidate for that Men vs. Food show where they eat gargantuan quantities of food (see sample video below where they eat some large quantities of oysters.)
All in all, Cali’s was a very nice experience and worth checking out.
