I try to make these events just to see what’s coming up event-wise. The focus is on tourism and how to market St. Mary’s as a place where folks can visit and relax. Another good thing about these events is the chance to hear other business people discuss what’s up with their operations. (Most of these conversations are of the “it’s hard on a pimp” variety as owners lament how bad business is.)
As much as I enjoy attending this, I do have a quibble with the event’s organizers and that has to do with their stated intended audience which reads as follows:
No mention of Country Stores. Rodney knows what that’s like.
