Buzzy’s Country Store now sells Coke that was made in Mexico. The big deal is that it is made with cane sugar and not the fructose corn syrup which is in all of the American-made Coke. Thus, I thought it was funny the other day to hear someone note “Cool. You have the real Coke.”
What’s even more ironic however, is that Mexico Coke producers recently decided to begin using fructose. However, after some push back from US MexiCoke lovers, they elected to continue producing the sugar-based MexiCoke and send it to the U.S. (click here.) Maybe that’s why all those kids are now trying to get into the US.
Coke still has the best commercials though.
