Columbus Day – two takes on it. (Remember? I’m catching up this week on things I missed.)
Take 1: There was only one song about the Lost Explorer, titled Like Columbus Did. If it sounds to you that it is a lot like Just Like Romeo and Juliet, you’re right on. The Reflections had a hit with Romeo &Juliet in 1964 and then followed it up with a recording that was a carbon copy music-wise only this time talking about Columbus.
