Here’s something kick ass for you on this the last day of February. First off, the song itself is good, even borderline great right from the little Susanne Vega nick at the beginning (and its reappearance mid-song,) thru the “Remember me” hook and interspersed with all the “dust turn to gold” lyrics. Got a good beat, tells a story and you can dance to it, hence great song.
However, it’s the video that takes it to a whole new level. All the Biblical David and Goliath stuff, a black Jesus, a couple of tatted-up royal ladies and even a dude sprouting wings. What else could you ask for? OK, it even has a cliff hanger ending. Like I said, this has it all. Goodbye February, hello March.
