I missed mentioning that the Vernal Equinox, first day of Spring is also known as the Feast of Isis. Calm down, it’s not THAT Isis. Long before these Islamist idiots stole the name ISIS to now conjure up images of wacko hooded terrorists, the Goddess Isis was known as the Mother God. For this reason Christianity chose this time of year to designate it as Mary’s Feast of the Annunciation (March 25 or 9 months before the birth of Christ.) In fact, Christianity appropriated/cloned a lot of Isis’ qualities onto its very own Mary the Blessed Mother (click here.)
Isis has a rather crazy and involved story that is worth checking out. (Hey, she was a Goddess after all, so what else would you expect?) But the whole Goddess Isis vs. terrorists’ ISIS is causing lots of identity issues such as the following story about a man being fired for having a tattoo of his girlfriend Isis.

The dude and his girlfriend Isis have since split up. I’m betting she left him after figuring out that anyone crazy enough to get his inner lip tattooed was not playing with a full deck to begin with.
