Countless times when listening to Sports Talk radio shows I have tried to call in only to hear a busy signal and never get thru. I’ve since given up on trying to make these calls.
So I was somewhat surprised when JW Raley came into Buzzy’s Country Store Tuesday afternoon and told me that earlier in the day he had called and gotten thru to 92.7’s Man Cave show. When JW informed me of the topic, “If you could change one play in the history of sports, what would you change,” I knew immediately which one he called in because we’ve had this particular conversation many times. (And when I say “many” that may even be a bit of an understatement.) The play he mentioned was Earl Morrall’s interception before half time in the 69 Super Bowl Colts’ loss to the Jets..
