Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony tonite and features several inductees including Ringo, Paul Butterfield, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joan Jett. In some rock critics’ opinions, Ringo is a somewhat controversial pick as there seems to be a division about whether or not he is HoF worthy (click here and scroll down to read some of the comments to get a feel for the pro/con arguments.)
As far as HoF controversies go however, Ringo’s induction is not up there with Pete Rose’s situation about whether or not he (Pete) should be in the Baseball HoF. However, Pete doing this recent commercial making fun of his situation may have gone a long ways towards helping him get in. Nothing like a little self deprecating humor you know:
