After mentioning Linda Fiorentino yesterday (in the Hitchcock video,) it crossed my mind that I hadn’t seem her in anything lately. She has a website but it only contains a couple of her photo’s that she took (click here.) There is also a website “What the hell happened to..” that has some info on her, but ultimately concludes she’s a bit of a mystery girl (click here.)
However, back in the day, she was no mystery in movies like Jade and The Last Seduction which I still have a VHS copy of somewhere here in the old hacienda. Her now famous “fence scene” is at the 27:40 mark if you just want to check it out.
And speaking of mysteries and girls named Linda, I’m reminded of Jackson Browne’s Linda Paloma. Some say it was to/about Linda Ronstadt while most others say it was about his young wife who committed suicide. Either way it’s a sad song that The Pretender gave to us.
