Happy Memorial Day! The Ridge Rumble for Vets’ highlight is always seeing Hattie Dunbar leading the way. (Photo shown here is from 2013 so Catholic school math tells me that she’s now 94. Keep on ridin’ lady.)

I’ve featured Link Wray’s Rumble previously (click here) so how about his Apache tune, one of the best instrumentals in rock history. (Link was part Shawnee so he liked doing “Indian” songs. For some unknown reason, the rif he plays at the .40 mark runs thru my head whenever I’m about and about trying to get some things done. Never thought too much about it until now and still don’t know why that is. I just like this tune a lot I guess.)
