Saw this great play on Deadspin (click here.) The second baseman Brandon Phillips is getting a lot of credit of course but the shortstop Suarez made a great play too handling the backflip from Phillips to get the force out.
Then just yesterday I went to a Nationals’ game and saw them score three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning for a comeback 4-3 win against the Mets. Great game, sellout crowd, beautiful day and a wonderful time. In life we take things for granted a little too much and forget how much fun it is to do certain things that we very rarely do. For me it will always be baseball as I tend to forget how much I enjoy it, how much fun it is to go to a game, to relax and savor the rhythms of the game and a day at the ballpark. Thank you John.
