August Buzzy birthdays include: Dickie Cullison on 1 August. On 3 Aug Rita Weaver and Cousin Johnny “JW” Raley celebrate; Bobbi Jo Magee on 5 Aug; Lori Raley on the 17th. Cathy Wright the 20th. And on the 29th, Jimmy and Marylou Cullison celebrate their wedding anniversary.
Immediate family-wise, August is a biggie because my Mom celebrates her birthday on the 21st and my son Brady on August 25th. Brother-in-law Danny Hofmeister celebrates his on the 26th.
And right in the middle of all those August birthdays, don’t forget the Ridge Fireman’s Carnival on these dates.
Then on 22 August there is an American Legion Poker Run that starts at Buzzy’s Country Store. (I think they are probably making a stop at the Green Door too. Just got that feeling, you know?)
As if that isn’t enough to do in August you can sign up for the Buzzy’s Smith Island Boat trip set for 29 August.
