Taylor Not-So-Swift-Young-Conservatives

Post debate, I was checking some conservative websites to see how the clown show was being portrayed when I stumbled upon something called The Young Conservatives. There was an item that Taylor Swift had made a video and because there are no black people in it, the claim is that liberals are upset about it  (read for yourself.)  Don’t know that I’ve heard of any liberal complaints along those lines but maybe it was a slow news day at the Young Conservatives when they dredged this one up.   Then again, not too many of my liberal friends are watching any Taylor Swift videos either.

The video in question is contained in the link above so I’ve not included it here.  Instead, I found this clever take on Taylor’s first big hit Romeo and Juliet.  Video does a good job helping to explain old Billy’s original play.  Looking at comments accompanying the video it appears that several teachers use this in their English Lit classes to help explain the play to their students.  Not sure that I ever understood all of that Montague vs. Capulet crap either.
