One of the bad things, and yes I hear you cynics saying that it may indeed be a good thing, about being out of the country 3 of the 4 weeks before Christmas is that you miss all the buildup and bs that goes with that “most wonderful time of the year.”
Pam and I got home late Wednesday night and took yesterday to unpack, unwind and tend to all the things that life requires like doing laundry and paying bills, running errands and just catching up.
Add into that mix having a business like Buzzy’s Country Store that requires care and attention and things get even more hectic. Then with Christmas just a week away, it just adds more to the mix.
But, as Buzzy used to say, there are good problems and there are bad problems. The difference being the two is that good problems are usually easily solvable. Catching up after a trip is a good problem.
