Got nothing today. Reminded me of Jerry and George pitching their idea for a T-V show where nothing happens..
Folks will ask me how I come up with “stuff” every day for the Buzzyblog and I joke “Simple. All I got to do is discuss something said or done the previous day in the Store. (For instance, yesterday’s conversations in Buzzy’s Country Store centered around the Broncos/Panthers meeting in the Super Bowl and who should win. Hence, today I would do something Super Bowl-related such as this PETA commercial that’s been banned (click here to read about and view.) I will be re-showing this one later at the Store.)
Quick aside here – I still like the Ted Nugent appropriation of PETA as standing for People Eating Tasty Animals.
But when it comes to having to seek out things to discuss daily, I can always go to sources such as This Day in History or even better, for me because I always look for a music video, This Day in Rock History. (For instance today is Eddie Van Halen’s birthday so I could do something on him/them and then include one of their videos.)
Another little source for me is that on days like this when the weather is cold and wintery, I’ll scan in a photo or two of folks in the Store. Those blogposts seem to be most popular as I generally receive several comments on them. Everyone seems to like looking at photos from bygone times.

But if I am really stuck for material, I can always do a personal item (like this.) However, I try to keep those to a minimum because the Buzzyblog, like Buzzy’s Store, is not intended to be about me as much as it is intended to be about the Store. That said however, the most feedback I receive on any given blogpost is usually a result of something personal that I relate. And if I’m on a rant about something, that will really get feedback as it seems that people like people being pissed off about something. (Did someone say Donald Trump?)
So tune back tomorrow when maybe I will be back in gear. As for a music video, no bait and switch at Buzzy’s, here’s Van at his/their best:
