Wanted to help promote this Stuffed Ham Fundraiser the Ridge Fire Department Auxiliary is hosting on Election Day, 26 April. Thought that I could come up with a clever joke about pork barrel politics, bringing home the bacon or how politicians are like stuffed ham that gives you indigestion and gas.
But as I was mulling these jokes and punchlines over, I came across the following and knew that I could not begin to top nor compete with it:

It’s getting more and more difficult to tell the real from the made up isn’t it? Crazy that a headline about posing with a dead pig may be one of the tamer items that we have seen.
Regardless, plan on getting a stuffed ham sandwich on Election Day. (Note 12 April pre-order deadline.)
