Ah yes, the 4th of July, Independence Day, picnics, parties, fireworks etc.. But the topper of all that activity going on today is the number one sporting event of the year the National Hot Dog Eating Contest. Who can forget last year’s stunning upset when Matt Stonie defeated Joey Chestnut (click here?)
I’ll have the competition on T-V at 3 o’clock in Buzzy’s Country Store. May even have a hot dog or two to munch on while we watch it. Contrary to Dirty Harry’s opinion here, ketchup will be available if anybody wants some on their dog.
