Today in 1971 County Law Enforcement officers raided a number of businesses and busted them for illegal gambling. Buzzy’s Country Store was among them. Here is the Enterprise account:
Buzzy’s offense was selling the pull tabs similar to those currently being sold in many non-profit establishments. In 1971 however, this was a big no-no.
