Some folks from central Florida were in Buzzy’s Country Store the other day and were talking Seminoles as in Indians. One of them referred me to look up Chief Jim Billie who at one time was Chairman/President of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
My visitor was certainly correct in directing me to check out Chief Jim and his career as Jim has had quite the life (click here) full of many ups and downs (click here.) And somewhere along the way he also managed to assemble and perform with a band known as the Shack Daddy’s. Found this video of them.
