Joke I sometimes tell when talking about the Beatles:  “They were so great that even Ringo’s songs were good.”

Once the Beatles broke up, Ringo went on to have a very successful solo career which eventually earned him a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Only 21 folks have achieved that multiple honor (click here)  and all 4 of the Beatles are included.

Well guess who turns 77 years old today?  Ringo (click here.)  

Wonder if he attributes any of his longevity to getting by with a little help from his friends.
