I missed this the other day. (When something Buzzyblog-worthy catches my eye I will save it as a “Draft” item and then pull it up when the time comes. However, for some reason, probably related to my C.R.S. condition, I neglected to post this on 7 May.)

When it comes to famous rock guitar rif’s Keith has a bunch of them with Satisfaction as probably his most famous one. The opening 3 notes of Satisfaction have been described as rock’s equivalent to Beethoven’s Dum Dum De Dum 5th Symphony beginnings that everyone also instantly recognizes.
Following Satisfaction, Keith then spun off several variations of that basic rif on other equally famous Stones’ songs. The following video does a nice job of sampling the top 10 guitar rifs from Keith.
