I always maintain that I get along with people whose names start with J.
Thus when I met Jan and Jerry Kiger a couple years ago I joked with them about this and noted that they were one of the first “J couples” that I had ever met. They came down to the 2018 Buzzy Car Show (click here for story on how that came about.) Since then they have returned to Buzzy’s several times and we have become friends.
On their most recent visit to Buzzy’s, Jan informed me about their Junk-a-Licious Shop featuring a number of antiques and items that they have collected thru the years. Their shop is located in Hollywood right across from the Hollywood Post Office on Mervell Dean Road.

Following their visit to Buzzy’s the other day with son Dustin I sent them a note wishing them Happy New Year. Jan wrote back the following very nice note:
Great seeing you are well J.Scott! Jerry & I enjoy coming to Buzzy’s! The people
are always super nice & friendly. It’s comfortable being there, & just an overall nice
place to hang out. Even though we’re not weekly regulars, everyone treats us like
we are! We hope 2020 is a great one for you as well!

And speaking of shops, check out this video from the Broadway musical Little Shop of Horrors. Ellen Greene plays Audrey with an annoying, squeaky voice when talking but when she sings – look out! (She’s also very easy on the eyes.)
