At Buzzy’s Country Store it is always fun when someone is there and then one of their family members or former friends whom they haven’t seen in awhile will also walk in. I call it the Buzzy Karma in that for some unexplained reason(s) both folks chose to stop in Buzzy’s at that same time and then they ran into each other. It’s happened twice in the past week or so and each time it involved brothers.
Saturday a week ago my buddy Pat Woodburn dropped in to check out these artifacts that had been found on Lee Carroll’s farm. Lee had brought them down to the store to show to folks and I had called Pat to swing by and check them out.
Thus, Pat and his son Dane were in Buzzy’s talking to folks, when in walked his brother Rocky accompanied by wife Joanne. While Rocky has previously been in Buzzy’s for a visit a couple of times, it was the first time that he and Joanne had dropped in together. They happened to be down county and had decided to drop in. Of course, they were surprised and happy to see brother Pat and nephew Dane also there.

And speaking of guys, just yesterday afternoon, President of the County Commissioners Randy Guy dropped into Buzzy’s after attending a meeting in RoDo Beach. (Randy is one of the very few politicians who will visit Buzzy’s other then every 4 years when he/she are running for office.)
As we talked, I asked Randy if he had been in contact with his brother Pat recently. He noted that he hadn’t seen nor talked to Pat in quite some time.
Well, you know what happened: here they are catching up after all these years. (Bobby Wright, in the background, assisted in helping to arrange this meeting of the two brothers by buying Randy a beer which meant he would have to stay a little longer until Pat rolled in. Randy was having such a good time though catching up with everyone, that he may have stayed longer with or without having the beer to finish!)
