Buzzy’s Country Store has been owned and operated by my family since 1945 and is a three generation business. My Grandfather Harry Raley bought it in 1945, sold it to my Dad Buzzy in 1953 and then I took over in 2007.
The only other local business around that can either match or exceed that accomplishment is Carroll’s Equipment in Dameron. Here are a couple items I nicked off of Massey’s You Know You’re From St. Mary’s FB page .

With the Classic Vinyl channel on at the Store Saturday, I heard this song played a couple of times during the day. It made me think of a comment someone made about Classic Vinyl only playing the same 30 songs over and over. However, when the second verse kicked in (00:50 mark) I think I figured out why they had it in heavy rotation yesterday. (Hint – it has something to do with the date.) One last note though – I’m still not sure I know what a hoodoo is (click here.).
