Old and stupid joke but worth the retelling.
Teacher asked the class if anyone knew what Easter was all about. Little Johnny was the only one who raised his hand so she reluctantly called upon him even though she knew that Johnny often times said somewhat inappropriate things. Johnny answered “Easter is when Christ arose from the dead and came up out of the tomb that they laid Him in.”
Relieved that Johnny gave such an excellent answer, the teacher said “Very good Little Johnny” who then continued by saying “Yeah, and if He sees his shadow there’s going to be 6 more weeks of winter.” //* (click here.)
This Gospel song is a little slow starting (aren’t they all?) but when it does kick in around the 3:00 mark it takes off.
