The other day in Buzzy’s Country Store one of my friends was commenting on how poorly someone had reacted to a gift that they had given to him/her. The comment went “Guess they never heard that expression ‘Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.’ I’m sorry I gave them anything.”
While everyone present laughed and agreed with the comment, it made me wonder where the heck that crazy saying came from.

For some reason this Tom tune did not make the list of his Top 100 songs as voted on by his listeners. It’s in my Top Ten of his tunes if for no other reason than the drumming.
