I mentioned this Buzzy Seed site a few weeks ago in a post on gardening.

I see where they have smacked that ® symbol on their Buzzy name so I am not sure if I can or even should be talking about them. All that trademark stuff is new to me and the little bit of googling I did on the subject only confused me more (click here.)
That said, back in the day, Buzzy, as in my Dad Buzzy, did sell packets of seeds in our store. I guess that if pressed to do so, I could always make the case that we were the first to sell seeds before Buzzy® sprouted up. (See what I did there?)
However, in a live-and-let-live-world, as long as they don’t mind me continuing as Buzzy’s Country Store selling booze, I won’t bother them about using the Buzzy name to sell their seeds.
And speaking of trying not to go to jail, it was today in 1957 that Elvis recorded this tune. Until I read up on this song just now, I never thought about the gay reference business of Inmate 47 telling Number 3 “you’re the cutest jailbird I ever did see. I sure would be delighted with your company. Come on and do the jailhouse rock with me” (00:52 mark in video.) I never knew that “Jailhouse Rock” was labeled as a gay anthem (click here.) That Elvis, always pushing the limits!
