Jesus Jeopardy!

Sunday religion lesson for you here on the Buyzzyblog involves the big news story of the past week and no it had nothing to do with his Trumpiness. See if you can guess what that story involved based on this MSN tease that popped up on my screen just now:

It was one of the $200 clues which are usually the gimmes because even I can get those correct on occasions. Comments about the three contestants not knowing the answer ranged from this signifying the demise of our society to the following “Christ, I am an atheist and even I knew that one!”

Speaking of Christ, He is commonly given credit for originating the Golden Rule “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” line even though a couple other dudes said something similar several years before (click here.)

Written by Art Reynolds who first recorded it in 1966, several others did a cover of this tune, but ultimately it was the Doobies who had the big hit with it in 1972. (Think about that for a sec – over 50 years ago! I’m not getting old; I am old!) If you don’t listen to anything else, jump in at the 3:40 mark for the transition which is up there as one of my all time favorites in a song.)
